business school

business website

The University of Auckland Business School Entrepreneurs’ Challenge provided up to one million dollars annually for investment in growth-oriented New Zealand SMEs looking to develop their businesses offshore.

Since the website launch in 2009 till 2018, the challenge has successfully showcased innovative winners such as coffee aficionados Allpress Espresso; tourism company JUCY; and bioinformatics software company Biomatters.

Funded by ex-pat New Zealand financier Charles Bidwill, entries were welcomed from established small to medium businesses across the country with a $1million per annum turnover.  The SMEs entering the competition applied with the objective to secure additional funding for projects or opportunities to grow and expand their businesses overseas.

“Get in the Loop delivered a website that perfectly captures the University of Auckland Business School Entrepreneurs’ Challenge brand. The unique and complex brief demanded they combine inventive and leading-edge design, an understanding of the School’s broad audience as well as a wealth of innovative problem solving solutions.”

several website projects

Over 8 years, Get in the Loop worked on several website projects with The University of Auckland Business School in New Zealand. We built their interim business school website in 2005, introduced them to our email marketing platform in the same year, and worked with the marketing team on the information architecture for their intranet.

special notes

The Entrepreneurs’ Challenge online competition, went through two website redesigns over its life span. The first website was developed in Joomla, the second in Drupal and the third in WordPress. All the logic from the old websites were carried through to the new site.

With the final redesign, Get in the Loop collaborated with the Business School’s advertising agency who provided the look and feel for the website, print advertising and PR campaigns. Our role was to project manage and develop the custom website and continue publishing content once the site went live. We also provided 24/7 website support and maintenance.

The new website showcased annual competition announcements, terms, entry forms, notifications, present and past winners, press and gallery content.
