In 2015, it became more viable from a brand and technical perspective to consolidate all Hurricane’s individual restaurant websites and functionality into a single WordPress site. This included:
- individual landing pages for each restaurant, eCommerce and gift card functionality
- enquiry forms for private functions, Christmas & NYE parties, careers, group bookings, general enquiries with multiple fields and in-house recipients
Simple elegant design with eCommerce functionality: The creative brief focused on bringing the look and feel into alignment with the newly renovated restaurants. Emphasis was on keeping the site simple and elegant, showcasing the menu, reservations, online bookings, restaurant locations, gift vouchers, home delivery services and the latest promotions and events.
The website was responsive with content and functionality adapting seamlessly from a desktop layout to all types of mobile devices. All eCommerce transactions (booking form deposits and gift cards) took place on the website with integration into the client’s multiple bank accounts via SecurePay Australia.
